Submission Guidelines
Evangelical Quarterly looks for articles appropriate to a journal focused on Bible and theology and whose aims include ‘defence of the historic Christian faith’, i.e. it is basically committed to an evangelical position, although this does not exclude critical examination of evangelical doctrine. Articles should have theological significance, have something fresh to say and be readable and interesting without necessarily being at the cutting edge of original research. Our audience is largely people with an academic interest in Bible and theology who are not necessarily professional scholars.
Please click here to see the format guidelines for submissions. Where possible intending contributors should consult a recent issue of the journal to see how material is formatted. Material submitted which diverges from our house-style will be returned to contributors with a request to reformat it appropriately.
Further insight to submissions format and content may be gained by reviewing editorial review guidelines provided to our consulting editors.
